The sweet potato is an alternative to the potato, with a multitude of culinary possibilities and very nutritious.
It has a sweet orange flesh and is ideal for roasts, purées, pies, soufflés and fillings, although it is also used to make jams, jellies, puddings, cakes and biscuits.
It is also one of the best digestible vegetables.
